Culture of Indokistan
Culture of Indokistan (Budaya Indokistan) has been shaped for a very long time by both local and foreign culture and influences that has existed in Indokistan prior to its establishment and after the independence in September 2010.
Indokistan was first located only in Jakarta that was highly influenced by Betawi culture. After its expansion, Indokistan has been located in Bekasi and Bandung, that was highly influenced by Sundanese culture, then in the city of Manado, that thing also contribute to the enrichment of the culture aspects of Indokistan then. Islamic culture and customs also highly influences Indokistani culture, as the majority of Indokistani peoples are muslim.
Literature and visual arts
Indokistani peoples also has some works in literature. Dicky L.K was recognizes to be one of the people in Indokistan, famous by its writings, especially his novels and his opinion articles that sometimes published in The Indokistan Times.
A continuous story (Cerita Bersambung) under a series of "The adventures of Duck" that made by few Indokistani peoples also popular, as the story was considered to be funny, sometimes off-topic, and sometimes silly. There are 7 stories that made, including "Adventures of worm [named] Keni" and "DS vs TLL war". The issued stories was using the format "Adverntures of Duck" - "The worm named Keni" - "DS-TLL series" on its publications.
There is also a comic works in Indokistan, with the title "The Blinks", actually telling a story about the fictional power that own by Badra Shidqi, his ability to explode. The expansion of "The Blinks" story later made, with the title of "Hantu Jodi" (Ghost [named] Jodi). That story telling about an unlucky ghost named Jodi, after commiting suicide that ends his life.
Kryllic script, or Indokistani Cyrillic, is one of the very first cultural aspects of Indokistan and introduced in April 2011. The script are the form of cyrillization, by using Russian Cyrillic to write Indonesian language, which usually using Latin alphabet. In Indokistan, Kryllic is often used by Indokistani peoples live in Travenoras.
Indokistan are runned by the secular government, makes the freedom of religion are becoming one of the right that received by Indokistani peoples, guaranteed by Indokistani government. Despite of the freedom of religion and the secular government, majority of Indokistan peoples are recognizes Islam as their religion, when small amount of them are recognizes Christianity, Jews and few minor local sects as their religion.
Especially in Travenoras and another islam-majority region, it was usually founded that Indokistani citizens recognizes Islam as their religion, following their ancestors that already recognizes Islam in a very long time. Peoples live in Indokistan are live under Islamic culture, rule, and community.
There are various genres of music that popular in Indokistan, Indokistani people are love to listening to music and songs. There is also a short-lived band which become famous in Travenoras between 2010 until early of 2011, which at that time called "Darksky". The member group are 5 peoples, and three of them were came from Indokistan. The group are not composing their own song, instead, they sing another group, or people, song.
Traditional games in Indokistan is a few games that developed by Indokistan citizens and played for the first time in Indokistan. Traditional games in Indokistan also became one of the most developed culture aspects in Indokistan. Since its establishment in September 2010, there are almost 8 traditional games that developed and became popular in Indokistan. The games including "Coinage", "Tarik Ayam", and "Tepuk Nyamuk".
This word is a palindrome that unnoficially founded in Indokistan, it refers to Ali Akbar. The actual meaning of the world is "The crazy Ali" or "Ali is crazy". The word are usually used as the nickname of Ali Akbar.
This is one of the reason why the province of Suyaj-Ardab changes name into Travenoras, because it means bad. Suyaj-Ardab word was the reverse from "Badra-Jayus", actually means "Badra who telling an unfunny joke". "Jayus" word is an Indonesian word which refers to a joke which makes people not even laugh, not even entertained by that joke.
Itu adalah hak!
This meme was actually founded by Nabil Ihsan in 2011, and "Itu adalah hak" means "It is [my] right [to do]...". The word are sometimes used for justification of his action, considered to be funny, or silly by most of the people. Another version of this word is "Itu hak PM!" (It is [the] prime minister right [to do]..).
Holidays are known in Indokistan as "Important Days" as not all days, may be seen as Holidays by some. Those days are known as "country days" and commemorate important things only relating to Indokistan.
