|Federal State of Indokistan|
This article is part of the series:
Since Indokistan is involved in the real world of micronationalism, especially since Indokistan has been active in the MicroWiki sphere, Indokistan has implemented the Free and active policy as its principle to conducting diplomacy with another nation, and to contribute to the local micronational community and micronationalism in general.
Indokistan has established diplomatic relations in the form of formal and informal relationships since February 2011, Los Bay Petros was the first nation to recognize Indokistan, by pursuing diplomatic relations with Indokistan. The historical moment occured on 14 February, and that day has been celebrated as Alliance Day since 2012, and become an annual observance every year. The number of micronations who have opened diplomatic relations with Indokistan has been steadily growing since that time.
On its foreign relations and its policy, Indokistani government established a principles as basis for its activities and to be followed by citizens. The principles are "active, free, non-interventionist", and was became official after the basis was included to the constitution in January 2015.
Active on this principles means that Indokistan shall be active to contribute to development of micronationalism wherever Indokistan active. Free means that Indokistan must be free to do any activities on Indokistan's own power without threats and force from foreign powers. Non-interventionist policy will prevent Indokistan from involved and interfering in any foreign nation internal policies.

Indokistan and Los Bay Petros have become best-friends since LBP become the first nation to recognize Indokistan in February of 2011. LBP has been allowed a special place in Indokistan foreign relations since that time. Indokistan has an embassy and a cultural center in Dredim, and Los Bay Petros also has its embassy in Flastraad.
Relations with Raflesinesia began when Raflesinesia was established in February, 2012. A conflict had occured when the Indokistani government found that Raflesinesia, which at that time was the Little Britain government, wrote a wrong fact in the history of Indokistan on their page.
The Little Britain government wrote the false fact on the history of Indokistan in their MicroWiki article, claiming that Little Britain was once separate from Indokistan after a conflict, and claimed that they were causing a war to occur in Indokistan, caused by the numbers of imigrants trying to enter Indokistan. They also stated that they are once a state of Indokistan, that has opposed the Indokistan unitary system.
A protest letter was issued and sent by the Indokistani government to the Little Britain government, and they later regretted their behaviour, and hoped for an apology from the Indokistani government. The Indokistani government gave an apology to them despite president Nabil Ihsan not believing their cause for doing that. Little Britain later changed their country's name to Raflesinesia.
After this incident, Indokistan and Raflesinesia have established warm and stable relations, agreeing to a diplomatic relation pact in July of 2012, and sharing borders with the Indokistani province of Slobodan. Finally, from discussions between Los Bay Petros and Raflesinesia on the 19th of June, 2012, the parties agreed to establish a union named the LIR Union.
Raflesinesia officially become part of Indokistan after their proposal on the reunification with Indokistan was accepted, and the reunification act was signed by both government on February 2013, made Raflesinesia an Indokistani territories under the new name, Cussex.
Relations with Monovia are starts after Harry Fitzpatrick sends a letter to the president at time, Nabil Ihsan, asking Nabil Ihsan to meet him on a chat on Skype. On Skype, he was expressing his idea to establishing a new nation with Indokistan, later, Indonovia was established as a confederation. Another nation, Raflesinesia are also joining the confederation, the Lurk Federation and Burkland also giving their few territory to Indonovia.
Indonovian project later disgraced and currently ignored after Monovia joins Renasia as a special autonomous region, and Indokistan government already losing their spirit and will to continuing the project Indonovia.
Relations with Aziziyah started after an agreement were made between Indokistan and Aziziya that ratified on October 30. The agreement were about Aziziya status in Indokistan which will made Aziziyah a dependent territory of Indokistan.
This agreement is valid for three months only, and in the end of the validity of the treaty, Aziziyah authority will hold a referendum, whether Aziziyah will ascend as Indokistani state or to become an independent country. As Aziziyah controls all of its internal affairs, its foreign affairs is managed entirely by Indokistan, and the defence is managed jointly by both Indokistan and Aziziya.
Arkapore and its predecessor has been in relation with Indokistan since 2011, then inconsistently joined and left Indokistan as a republic, then a state. First contact with Arkapore was started from its predecessor, Bobodolands Barakstan in the end of 2011.
Indokistan and Bobodolands Barakstan started to bound in diplomatic relations in 2012, before decided to join Indokistan, but left shortly. Bobodolands Barakstan then rejoin Indokistan to be one of its republics in the Federal Republic of Indokistan, and decided to stay in Indokistan despite of Al Rasyid Darussalam secession in end of 2012.
Barakstan made a significant contribution in Indokistan, and its leader Tian Abdurrahman was become Indokistani president in June 2011 after an election. Barakstan then decided to left Indokistan after ideological differences, and to change their name to Arkapore.
First recognition of Indokistan to Barakstan was started in rough, because an action of blockade was done by Barakstani government in January 2012, which revealed as a protest action against Indokistani influence there. Indokistan and Barakstan then opened diplomatic relations in February 2014 after restoration on relations and the conflict has been resolved.

Indokistan can brand any nation as an "enemy of the state", if the nation show no cooperation with Indokistan, also if that nation seen as a threats that can damage national sovereignty. State enemy status will prevent Indokistan on establishing relations on the enemy and is on defensive system against the "enemy of the state".
