The Ministry for State Security and Emergencies commonly known by its Zealandian acronym MfS (Zealandian:Ministertiet für Statsiškheit) is the ministry responsible for the protection of Zealandia's state security. Its current Director-General is Håkon Lindström. The Ministry for State Security and Emergencies is headquartered in Stepenavik (the capital of Zealandia) with its main operations base located underneath Government House.
The Role of the Ministry for State Security is to oversee the operations of the SÄPO.
Whilst not much is known about the operations of the Ministry for State Security, it is rumoured that operations are extensive both within Zealandia and in the Intermicronational community. Most Ministry for State Security operations are classified in accordance with Zealandian Law.
The Ministry is responsible to the Zealandian Riksdag via the Minister for State Security, the current minister is Håkon Lindström.
The Ministry is lead by the Director-General who is Håkon Lindström, the Director General ensures the coordination and smooth operation of the Ministry. Underneath the Director-General is the Security Police.
The Ministry for State Security has had two ministers over it's lifetime

- Marka Mejakhansk March 2011 - June 2011
- Håkon Lindström 2nd time June 2011 - Present
On 5 December 2011 the Ministry for State Security gave King Hakon incorrect information regarding an alleged coup happening in Zealandia, which was latter found out to be false
